About the Role
Position Description:
Gays Against Groomers (G.A.G) is a home for anyone in the LGBT community who feels like he/she doesn’t agree with the new culture that our community is pushing. This individual would also have a skill that they think can be used to help the movement no matter how big or small. We can use your help!
Position Details:
- Assisted by City Chapter Leads
- Speaking at official government meetings (I.e school boards, City Council)
- Assist City Chapter Leads in executing events, meetings, or tasks
- Contribute ideas to the City Chapter Lead
- Assist in recruiting new volunteers and encourage he/ or she to go to the website to apply
- Hang signs throughout the city to support the organizations messaging
- Attend rallies, protests, and events
- Attend City Chapter Meetings
- Work directly with City Chapter Leads with requests, assistance, or support needed from G.A.G
- Meet with City Chapter Lead to provide updates and coordinate events/duties
Requirements:
Ability to work well with a team
Dedicated to assist the organization
Contribute to the success of the team
Must be LGBT
